'Super Nintendo Arcade System' (One Off Fan Build) Just finished designing/building this 'one off' machine & it's ready to be loved in a new home! full specifics will be listed below but here's a quick rundown of what you get with this system.the machine used to be a 'maygay big break' fruit machine which I bought in non working order, the body work was restored and all the inner workings were removed. The main body has been covered in high quality carbon fiber effect wrap with 'nintendo' decals, the top shell has been painted silver and all plates on the top shell have been made from stainless steel and finished with carbon fiber effect. I have left the back of the machine exactly as it was when i got it as it was covered in stickers from various companies which i felt should be kept not only to show the life of the machine, but it also gives it a cool arcade feel. The insides have been replaced with a huge 17'' flatscreen monitor, a modern computer with 120GB HDD & 1GB RAM (plenty to smoothly run the game software and the custom windows O/S with ample room to add more games or console emulators in the future). The Operating System has been 'tweeked' to give a richer ''arcade'' experience with boot up being void of any ''windows'' logos ect. booting up with the nintendo logo and a custom 'snes' themed logon after power up you are literally one click away from your huge selection of games. The system has been designed specifically to give an authentic arcade experience at home while being very easy to use and navigate and unlike other cheap home arcade builds there's no faffing about plugging in keyboards and mouses, after you turn it on its all operated from the control panel on the front of the machine again making things easy to use and maintaining the arcade experience. The Control panel is designed for single player use but is fitted with a wireless controller that can be used as a second player, it is also possible to buy wireless 'snes' controllers with a USB receiver Online which can be added easily at a later date if you wanted too, The control panel is fitted with 6 real feel arcade buttons and joystick, another two buttons are mounted on the front of the cabinet (start & select). The 17'' flat screen is mounted behind a customised 'super nintendo' glass bevel and the colour, volume and other screen settings can be adjusted using the button panel below. The cabinet features faux coin insert slot and return tray, they do not function they are just for looks. The front has an easily accessible panel where you can turn on the system & access USB slots for adding more content or controllers. This machine has had a lot of thought and money put into the building of it and I think any retro nintendo fan would appreciate this one off arcade system!
